We want to extend a warm welcome to the newest member of the Association team, Thembelihle Nyembe, who has taken the role from Sandrine Mpazayabo as Fellow-Intrapreneur-In Residence 2024/25. See Thembelihle’s bio below (at the end of this section).

I have been with the Foundation for over a month now, having joined the Association at the beginning of April 2024. My professional career started in 2020 where I worked as a Junior Associate with Boston Consulting Group. I moved into the Venture Capital space working as an Investment Associate with Mvuno Capital and then an Investment Analyst with Hlayisani Capital. My last role before joining this team was with Peregrine Capital as a Junior Investment Analyst. I am passionate about supporting the growth of SMEs in the African context. My life is centred around my Christian faith; I prioritise helping myself and other women grow in relationship with God. I have taken up running as a hobby; I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends.
