05 Sep AMI-ANDE Impact Meet Up
The aim for this meet is calling all women-led business ecosystem enablers to learn more about the impacts of Accessing Finance through an informative and interactive morning at the AMI Impact Meet-up focused on supporting Women SMEs to access finance. We will also look at key insights about the inclusion and development of emerging women-led entrepreneurs in African businesses taken from AMI’s 2022 Impact Report.
This event is supported by us at the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) in examining the impact that the Emerge Programme had on women-led entrepreneurs. The Emerge programme supported women-led businesses based in South Africa to address barriers to accessing finance, build leadership confidence & buy-in, and how to close financial deals.
You will join a curated guest list of experts and hear contributions from speakers including ecosystem enablers such as funders and women-led entrepreneurs from the Emerge programme. Our panel will include the below esteemed speakers:
Maphefo Sipula, Head of Research at Property Point and Gender Lead
Janice Johnston, CEO at Edge Growth Ventures & Impact Investor at Edge Growth
Tinah Sebuse, Business Development & stakeholder relations Manager at Masisizane Fund
Panel Discussion Topic: Building the case for debt and equity funders to participate in good quality pipeline building initiatives with shared costs, through ecosystem capacity building events that share the evidence from this program.
Hear from the Women Entrepreneurs who participated in the Emerge programme about their journey and the impact it’s had on their businesses.
Phindile Mposula, Director at Mavhunga Holdings
Lindiwe Msiza, Change Strategist, Wellbeing & Transformational Consultant & Leadership Coach at Transform Leadership Consulting
